Why We Made This

A defining feature of the 90s Type R engine bay was its chrome oil cap. Paired with Honda's signature red valve cover, it not only set the Type R apart, but also reminded owners of its rich racing history. Unfortunately for modern performance Hondas, an exclusive oil cap is no longer offered, coming instead with a base model plastic cap that is prone to cracking under high heat and vibrations.

ALPLUS has reinvented the classic oil cap for the modern era, capturing Honda's enduring passion and heritage. The design pays homage to the original with precisely crafted Grade 5 Titanium.
